Marvel has been on one hell of a winning streak in 2018. Black Panther still has some screening even after its DVD/Blu-Ray release. Infinity War had the most pre-ordered movie tickets of all time. Both movies are fully enjoyable from start to finish with action, humor, and high interest in seeing the movie all over again. Ant-Man and The Wasp has the potential to continue this trend or make it completely fall apart.
Now on house arrest after his adventures as Ant-Man wreaked havoc, Scott Lang enjoys his time with his daughter but otherwise his days fill long and lacking excitement. Thankfully he has to comply with the law for a few more days before his freedom is granted back to him but he has a dream that feels too real involving Hope’s mother. Dragged away from his home, he must avoid the FBI, help Hope and Hank, and avoid new foes.
Marvel has a great team of writers, actors, designers, and special effects that has made 2018 a great year; Ant-Man and the Wasp is no exception. From beginning to end, this film was a great time especially its IMAX theater experience. If you have the extra cash, go for it. You won’t be disappointed as just the sound of the cars driving sounds much more stimulating.
The main theme of this movie centers family as Scott tries to stay on the path of least trouble for his daughter while Hope and Hank spare no expense for even the possibility of seeing their loved one again. Packed with plenty of comedy and action, Ant-Man and The Wasp is not to be missed by any means especially with an after-credits scene that tells the audience his adventures are far from over.
